You’ve known us as Michael Murphy Home Furnishing for over fifty years. Now, we’re excited to let you in on what’s next. We’re really proud to announce our brand upgrade to Murphy Home. This change reflects our evolution as a company. We’re just as dedicated to supporting modern homes — today, and into the future — while staying true to the values that have defined us since 1974.
When our story began all those years ago (fifty years is a long time!), it started as a single furniture store in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Since then, we’ve expanded significantly — six stores across the country, an award-winning online experience, and a continuously evolving style catalogue — we’ve certainly come a long way!
But, one thing has never changed (and never will!); our genuine love for helping people create homes that feel comfortable, personal, and full of warmth. Murphy Home remains proudly 100% Irish-owned, and a member of Retail Excellence Ireland and Guaranteed Irish, reaffirming our commitment to supporting Irish industry and communities. Our identity as an Irish company is especially important to us as we move forward.
